How to burn a tank of gas in about 4 hours (kinda long)
I have an '91 coupe with an AAN installed. I tore it down to do some upgrades (GT2871, RS2 em, injectors, adjustable FPR, etc.) I decided recently to switch from stock Motronic to the VEMs stand alone engine management. The beauty of the VEMs system is that it plugs right in to the stock harness. I brought the car down to Durham, NH to have Marc Swanson, aka a4kquattro, aka addicted_2_e85 set me up with a basic street tune on the VEMs. After a few hours, several boost runs up and down Rte 4 and a tank of gas the car was running well. We had to fix a few outstanding mechanical issues and reconnect the boost hoses that kept blowing off, but all was good. Anyway, an AAN-converted coupe running with 28 pounds of boost is completely insane. I have a pretty much stock S4 also with an intended acceleration chip which I think is fast. There is no comparison. Many thanks to Marc Swanson from efi express and Jason Russell from VEMs for the ecu and tuning and to Joe at Axis Motorsport for parts acquisition and much help and patience. I hope this is the right forum as I wasn't sure if it should go here or the 80/90/CQ forum. I can't imagine what this car would feel like with a bigger turbo/injectors/intercooler, wait that gives me an idea... See y'all at S-fest.

Glad to help, Lew
Enjoy the car and your new found horsepower, although I'm sure you wont have any trouble with that
Just one correction, EFI Express is my company and I'm a distributor for VEMS systems, Jason works directly for VEMS and does the warranty repairs / modifications, etc.
