Default I forgot to post this! EXTREMELY EASY TO STEAL S CARS!
well as you know my car was stolen in august. After examinging they popped the window and got in (no glass break alarm) the disabled the alarm then jammed a screw driver in the ignition and off they went. Taking about 3 minutes we guess.

how did they disable the alarm, or did they just crawl in t he window?

Default I get a discount on my insurance because they think the S4 has a factory immobilizer
I have read this and that about the immobilizer and the local key cutter place has a little box that scans the key to see if there's a "chip" in it. Mine comes up positive but I can start my car with a copied key. Useful immobilizer.

i'm pretty sure the immobilizer only means you can't start the car if the alarm is going off...
