I had mixed coolant. Gunk build-up. Can I used CLR in the system to clean it out?

Others have suggested this. I wouldn't do it, nor need to, but he didn't just make it up :}

From flushing my system like this, 2 times wasn't enough to remove old coolant, id do this until the
water draining out is light light grean (or whatever color your old coolant was)
I flushed it 4 times before i was satisfied.
