I recently ordered a set of Bilstein HD's for my 95 S6 from BlauParts. I also bought a set of 92 Sport Springs from one of the fine members of this board.
After install by my suspension shop my car was actually sitting up 2" higher rather than 1/2" lower. (Some of you may remember my post from 2 weeks ago.) Several of you posted that the HD's have a tentancy to lift up the S6 1"-2".
I contacted Blauparts and they stated they have not had any problems with the HD's raising our cars up, so I submitted your reply's to my post where several of you testified to the fact that you're experiences were not the same and that you did indeed have a 2" lift on the HD's.
After talking with Jim Blau (Owner,) BlauParts has offered to ship me a set of new BOGE shocks at no charge including shipping both ways even though they've never experianced this phenomena in their shop. Because of their generosity, I am not asking to be refunded the difference between the cost of the two different shocks and I will drive the Bilstein's over when they're off the car (I only live 30 miles away,) to thank him and his staff in person.
BIG Thumbs Up to Jim Blau for standing behind his company's Superior Customer Service claims. He has proven to me that his company walks the walk, which is so rare these days in the import parts world.
THANK YOU BLAUPARTS for making what could have been a depressing experience a positive one.
(Now everyone go buy some isht from them)<ul><li><a href="http://www.blauparts.com/">http://www.blauparts.com/</a></li></ul>

definitely look "lifted". I always wondered why my old '93 S4 (now rfeagleye's) sat so high. He added '92 springs but it still sits high. Here is a picc of it when I buffed it last summer. Some shine eh?

....their service has usually been that good though....I had to return the water pump on my allroad after 9K miles. for the record...the perches on the rear of my 92 were just flipped back to "normal" yesterday. They were put on "upside down" when I had the Bilstein sports installed back in Nov. I noticed it immediately, but having read the posts here I thought it was something that would "settle"... then I thought about it some more and realized it just wasn't right...
did some digging, and they were installed wrong, raising the car at least an inch, maybe more.
