Default EDIGREG's bracket *is* nice. I like the location. Marc's might have been for the turbo side of the

engine.

Personally, I will be mounting my D585's like EDIGREG, away from the heat of the turbo and downpipe.

Default As I mentioned before I'm still working on the bracket

I've mounted it both ways 'hot' side and 'cold' side, seems to work fine in both locations.

I've got a solidworks model started for the finished bracket, anybody that wants to order my kit minus the current generic bracket subtract $15 from the price (I'll re-work the website tonight so the cart allows for more ala-carte options).

Default Final update - Marc suggested removing the bracket all together. I did, and it worked. All done.

Everything is now fully installed and done. I finished just after sun down. Time to go drive it. I'll provide pictures some day when I get a chance (it's dark out now).

Thanks for the help.

Default Got my kit installed today, I ended up modifying the bracket

by cutting it and then rewelding the bar mount about 1" forward on the side pieces. I also turned the coils around so that the heatsinks would tuck back under the bar giving me a lot more room to play with.
Excuse the mess, I haven't cleaned up the wiring yet as I was just getting everything to fit and get up and running again.
Car runs WAAAY better at boost now. I even seem to be holding boost at the top much better. Did a flat out run in instantaneous mode (TDS-1)and it didn't drop below 20 pounds all the way to 6k. No more misses, no more sputters....smooth as silk all the way up.
Pics of the final product installed.
