like mine - so the inst I gave you should work. Are you sure that is the OEM remote
My understanding is the correct transcever for the 97's is the same as the A4/A6 which was a larger fob with a panic button as well.
My guess is you need a different fob. if you are sure it is correct - meaning it used to work then I'd bet your reciever is dead - happened to me last year. Found on e from a car that was being parted out.
