Often takes 3-4 seconds to start my car. Cranks fine but I give it a little throttle to get it to fire up. If I restart it within 1 minute it is fine. 10 minutes or so and it takes a few secs to fire up. Does it with OE ECU and VEMS. I suspect that the check valve on my 044 FP is bad--only 2 years old. How long should it hold pressure? I have a pressure gauge on the fuel rail but haven't checked how long it holds pressure.
PS Forgie CPS(???cam sensor) is recent

You know that the FP relay is not triggered until the ECU sees the signal from the Cam Position Sensor so if your check valve is leaking, it's going to take a few seconds of cranking to build the pressure back up to the 4 bar minimum.
Could also be a leaking FP regulator.
