Looking for narrow input shaft/ 1st gear
Does anyone have a narrow input shaft/ 1st gear for an O1E Trans., which is not pitted (i.e. galled)? In the process of having trans. rebuilt. Thanks in advance,

Good luck. If some one had one, it would mean the tranny is "good". Unless...
they swapped it for the wider-geared shaft, which is typically been cost prohibitive. Much easier and potentially less costly to swap in an CRB 6 spd from an RS2 or a DSY or EDU from an neu-S4.

You used to be able to buy them from Audi. I THINK (check etka) the B5S4 1st gear fits
?
