Looking for part # for 1.8T coil project (OR how my local dealer sucks)
When I ordered the two piece cover that goes over the 1.8t coil pack connectors it came as only one piece. The dealer said that was it. When I asked if they could order the other half of the part they said they couldn't look it up and needed to know what it went to. I told them what it was and they threw down some part schematic and walked away. The whole time the a-hole at the counter sounded annoyed to be bothered with finding my part for me. Another bad dealership experience. So, does anyone have a way to look up the second half of the cover? The half I have is 6XO-971-921-A. Thanks.

That part no. is what I ordered and got - but it was two halves attached together by a thin...
piece of plastic (like a tether). They only function as a pair.
I ordered 5 pieces 6X0 971 921 A and got 10 halves tied together in 5 pairs as described above.
Sounds like the dealer is trying double his money on that item.

Kris at VM Autohaus in Burnaby BC. (use Google). I checked with Kris when I saw your ...
post just to confirm my memory and Kris said that, ya, you should get two halves not one. (Which is what I got from him in the summer).
