Default OK, gotta figure out where the front suspension "klunking" is coming from.....need help........

any tips from you guru's? I'm going to do some investigation today. I guess I'll be checking for bad subframe bushings, swaybar bushings and anything else that can be causing this. Any tips on what to look for are greatly appreciated.

4Driver4.....sorry I could't stop by this week.....work sucked big time.

Default I'll let you know whether all my parts cures mine or not.

Mine doesn't clunk when going over bumps, it clunks when turning while driving slow or driving in reverse.

Default Mine does the same thing but everything seems tight in the front end.

It almost seems like it is coming from the rack, it especially does it right after I start the car, drive away and I am turning the wheel. One clunk and then it is gone until next time.

"Alvins OOOO, DKW, Auto Union, Power Rack Shop"
Thanks bud.

Default having a simialr problem....

only klunks at low speeds (like pulling into raised driveway)with the wheel turned.
checked and tightned all bushings, control arms, sway bar bushings, tie rods and still does the same thing.
i guess the next step is to adjust the rack.
would this mean that the rack needs replacing?
