No I am not talking about right or left side. Does anybody have the measurements for the proper placement? I have a '96 Canadian spec S6 so I am assuming it belongs on the left(driver's) side not on the passenger side where it currently sits.

I finally got my German cousin to mail my badge to me.

from the bottom left corner of the badge to the left edge of the trunk, 2cm
from the same corner of the badge to the botton of the trunk (before the taillights), 1.5cm. HTH

measure the one on the car right now to see how it compares with your numbers.

Mine are 0.8 cm from the bottom and 1.4 cm from the edge of the trunk.
