Default Welcome! Make sure you check compression and/or leak down before going RS2

You may be forced to "tinker" a lot more than you'd like if you start feeding a lot more boost into a high mileage motor. Just make sure everything it tip top before you go for more power. I'm probably wasting my breath because it seems that you have your bases pretty well covered and must know a little bit if you had no hesitation about buying a 300k car.

Default A good body shop can do plastic welding and fix that bumper...

and repaint it. Shouldn't cost too much to get done right.

Default I have most of the pieces...

the previous owner hit a chunk of ice in the road. I may fix it or see if I ever run into a green C4 bumper... but then the paint might not match due to fading, etc. Thanks for the tip!

Default Sure! Patch job on broken wires in the left...

rubber conduit between the body and the tailgate. The rear wiper wasn't working when I bought it and the dash lights didn't come on one night when I went for a drive. Found the fuse was blowing due to the broken wires shorting out. I pulled the rubber conduit down and found three broken wires. Stripped them and crimped them with some connectors. Now my rear wiper works too I've heard it is a common problem with the wires running to the tailgate. I think the rear license plate light is on the same circuit as the dash lights.

Default Not just any C4 bumper will work. It has to be an S6 bumper, big bucks

The S4 and S6 have much bigger front fender flares that go into the bumper cover and the S4 and S6 are different in that the S4 has the black strip on the bumper and the S6 is all body color.

Good S6 or S4 bumpers are hard to find used and go for good money. New is around $1100. Another option is to get a Euro bumper like the one in my sig. They can be found for less than a new North American bumper.
