Hey guys,
I lost my clutch pedal last week, new one should get here on Wednesday. I haven't stuck my head up there too far, how much of a pain in the butt is this? Any tips or suggestions?
Thanks.

It stuck to the floor, so I assumed it was the rod on the master cyl snapping. It wasn't though, it was actually the portion of the pedal that attaches to the rod. The pedal itself is still firmly mounted.

I assume it's manditory, since you went ahead and made one. What exactly does it do? Is it a dealer availible part? Thanks...

so the throw out brg is completely off of the pressure plate. It's at max compression at midpoint. It goes from the firewall to the leg on the right of the picture of my broken pedal.
Hindsight being 20 - 20 - I suppose ties will work fine. The tool works great. Move pedal to the mid point - slide the tool over the spring - pull the pedal back out - spring & tool fall to the floor!
