Default RS2 manifold and GT turbo's from Europrice

I am currently running a stock 93 S4 with a MTM chip. What kind of performance gains could I expect with a RS2 manifold only? Performance of adding one of Europrice's GT turbo's?. Is there more turbo lag or less?
TIA

Default Not much hp gain with the manifold. I've been told 15-20 on a stock engine.

As for the GT turbos, they will be more laggy. At least an RS2 manifold would be necessary for these.

Default depends which turbos you're getting.

according to 034efi

K26/GT2871
"The perfect upgrade to the K24 (stock turbo), same fast response but peak output of the RS2 turbo, it doesn't get any better than this for the AAN UrS4. Slightly smaller turbine and compressor section than our K26/GT3071, this turbo is capable of 425+ crank HP and peak boost of 30psi efficientlly.

Choose this turbo over the GT3071 for faster response and applications under 450HP where the higher flow is not required.

Full boost by 2700 RPM on most 2.0-2.3l motors and the ability to run over 28psi boost efficiently. Works well with Audi RS2 chipsets or custom tuning. "

K26/GT3071
"The perfect RS2 killer, faster spool up and _significantly_ more power output. The GT3071 uses a smaller turbine and compressor wheel than the GT30R which is the perfect combination for a fast reacting, 500 crank HP small displacement turbo.

Full boost by 3000 RPM on most 2.0-2.3l motors and the ability to run over 40psi boost efficiently. Works well with Audi RS2 chipsets or custom tuning. Available with a myriad of turbine housing options to fit all stock K24/26 applications and also all Garrett T3 and GT housings, specify in comments field exactly what turbine housing you'd like with your order, or feel free to ask us anything about what to use with your application. Also available with 3" or 4" inlet, please specify. "

Default sell rs2 turbo and you're close to what a 3071 costs. add a bit more for oil/water lines

use your rs2 software ... and you're good to go! ) btw .. if you source your own water/oil lines .. you could save up to $100.

Default My concerns on the 3071 are....

longevity of the turbo... and....

going over my motor just for safety's sake.

If and when I go bigger, I'll probably dive into the motor and check things out.

Default so tim let me ask you..

my motor is at the machine shop, I have a new rs2 turbo, would you scrap that and go to the 3071? I could have the internals done now, and you said you weren't really all that impressed with rs2 set up.
