Runnin tip top with new clutch and exhaust... except one thing.

Idling, clutch disengaged, neutral, there is a squeaking coming from the bell housing. Ive been real nice to the clutch for there is only 50 miles on it, I'm thinkin the friction plate just needs to set in.

OEM flywheel, and as soon as I touch the clutchpedal the squeak stops. Im thinkin the throwout bearing needed a little more grease than I applied

I have a lightweight flywheel in my BMW (10 lbs vs 29 lbs)... but it is noisy. If you don't mind it, it's a good mod. My BMW is more of a "track car" so I don't really care about noise or comfort.

That made sense to me so I did it. There was a little surface rust on the collar.
I think it also said to grease the input shaft where the clutch splines slide, but I didn't do that. Just seemed more likely to cause problems than prevent them.
