Howdy! We have been approached by a customer to do an OE European Sport Spring Group Purchase once again. We yet to confirm pricing, though last time we were able to knock $100 off the cost of the spring set complete.
The springs are very similar to '92 S4 springs in terms of lowering and spring rate.
OE European Sport Spring (Front, Sedan)
194lb/in (+16% Stock)
OE European Sport Spring (Rear, Sedan)
232lb/in (+5% Stock)
<img src="http://www.euro-audi-parts.com/s6sportspringa.jpg">
The Avant rear springs are stiffer than the sedan, these are fitted to each chassis type. These springs lower approximately 20mm. Compared to aftermarket springs they are a tad softer and do not overly lower the car. We all know what happens when you overly lower the front end of an S4/6, camber issues! So if you live in an area with ground clearance issues, snowy weather or just don't need your car to be slammed these are the sport springs for you.
Rough estimate on pricing:
(x1) S6 Sport Springs (Sedan or Avant) - $599.50 set
(x10-19) S6 Sport Springs (Sedan or Avant) - $499.00 set
Note this is an estimate based on the previous group purchase which was in 2004. I will be working with the supplier on pricing shortly. We can also offer pricing on Koni Sport Shock Sets at discounted rates for buyers in the group purchase!
If you are interested please email at: <a href="mailto:contact@euro-audi-parts.com?subject=Europrice Inquiry - OE Sport Spring Group Purchase">contact@euro-audi-parts.com</a>.
Cheers!

This is a email I sent when I set up a GP for these springs through alex 2 yrs ago.
I've been very very happy with the ride - they don't look as cool as the H&R or eibach - but they are the perfect compromise for those with less than perfect raods and ground clearance issues.
Morning,
Below is the text from my last e-mail from alex.
I'm not sure about the eibach rates tough I've been led to believe that they are similar to the H&R - just slightly softer. This is the H&R data from www.urs4.com (most guy's seem to run the v8 kit):
part front rate/drop rear rate/drop
29921 V8 285 ~1.30" 330 ~1.30"
29771 S6+ 340 ~1.30" 330 ~1.25"
Text from Alex:
Howdy! These are the same style springs as the '92 S4, -20mm lower, stiffer spring rates than stock, but of course matched to each body type asI mentioned.
These are OE Audi springs as delivered from Audi, not aftermarket!
Spring rates as tested by a customer of ours,
special thanks to DanielHussey:
S6 Avant OE Sport Springs:
Front - 200lbs
Rear - 285lbs
The stock springs are in the neighborhood of
125lbs while the stock '92S4 springs are just slightly less stiff, note the rear spring rate on the Avant is higher than the sedan spring rate due to the added weight.
