Hey, I have been at a loss on where to find a cheap bumper cover for my S6. From the dealer it's around $1300 which seems a little ridiculous to me. I am just wondering if there is anywhere I should be looking or if anyone is parting one out/ knows where to get one...

There is a guy in Alabama that has like three of our cars and he has a white (I think) cover. I think he said he wanted a $700 for the front and $300 for the rear cover. He may move in pric enot sure though
His ad expired but it was in atlanta craigslist.
His contact is Email d993s@aol.com or call 770-596-2333

So, tell the forum something about yourself, Jay. You are brand new here. With all those Audis, why are you just coming here? Have you been on another forum?
Are you from the Atlanta area?
Why are you shilling for David Mandache? He is not from Alabama, of course, but up I 85 NE of Atlanta.
You have probably guessed part of the reason I am asking. This guy is a well known turd. Please do a little research before you post what appears to be a recommendation.
The other part of why I ask is the group is fairly small in automobile circles, and we tend to be social in nature as well as gearheads fixing problems and searching for elusive parts.

I have no clue who the guy is, it was merly a suggestion. It has been noted that he is a tool.
As for me I am in Denver and been playing around with Audis for almost a decade. My first Audi was a 1991 Coupe which was the start of an obession. My whole family drives Audis and we have for many years. I don't do much forums actually this is the only one I am active on. I do most of my repairs myself but if work needs to get done I send it to 303 motorsports. I have read some posts from many of the people here and they seem to know a bunch about the cars, so I figured why not be part of the conversation. Also I have been doing a bunch of work on my S6 and there has been some questions that I needed some opinons on.
Any other questions let know.
Jay

Great. Glad to see you still here and not too put off by my abrupt manner. I just hate to see this guy get some free advertising. There is a large population base in his vicinity that would provide plenty of business, but he seems to avoid the face to face transactions.
Now that you are here I have to mention that traffic here is pretty slim, and you would get more help where most of the UrS car owners in the Denver area post, as well as the rest of North America.
I can't offer TJT any better information on UrS6 bumper covers. They are in short supply and do command a premium. Weldo is the go to guy in CO.
