Default Serpentine Belt Tensioner Pulley/Roller

Just recently completed timing belt, serp belt, water pump timing belt roller , thermostat etc on the urs4...

However the bearing in the roller/pulley on the serpentine belt tensioner is shot...

do not want to buy the whole tensioner assembly from audi.

does anyone know where to get just the roller?
some sites show nothing...some show millions of choices...

any input would be greatly appreciated.
thanks!

Here is a DIY on changing just the bearing (not an Audi part). You can buy the equivalent bearing as an alternator bearing from NAPA.

I used a NTN 6203LLBC3/L627 bearing in my pulley. 6203 is a common size conrad style ball bearing. This one is a high speed rated bearing. I bucked 3/16 X 3/8 plain steel rivets to secure the halves of the split pulley together.

The bearings are about $10 apiece. I have a spare installed in a roller if interested. trgreen at comcast.net

If you decide to undertake a DIY repair, carefully inspect the spring portion of the tensioner asssembly for security of the housing. Any deformation of the spring housing is cause to replace the assembly. But, if it is in good condition, replacing the bearing in the roller makes sense. Carefully pry the plastic cover off the pulley center. Make sure you use the correct size torx for removing the center screw and seat the tool fully in the screw head. Failure is not an option here since I know of no replacement source.

What size IS that Torx? T-30 fits in but seems loose. T-35?
