Convince me to get it over the RS2 manifold.

Default Your car is broken.

Oh, wait - wrong question.

Frankly, I don't see why not, if the thing flows and lasts like the genuine article.

Default Any idea how they compare on heat and sound?

Do the RS2 manifolds transfer the heat better? are they considerable louder or sound difernet than the 034?

What is the cost different if both are new?

I'll start by saying that I had to look far and wide for my rs2 manifold. First one was from the europrice GB (sold it) and 2nd one was off fleabay from a audi dealer in south florida. It is great that there are now other alternatives.

My only fear would be if I had to replace (whatever manifold you install) down the road you are looking at a lot of labor + gaskets.

Edit: But I will also note that my future goals are only going to be rs2 power levels.

Default I've got one, but it's not mounted yet so I have no idea how it sounds..

I wasn't impressed with the finish.. some rough surfaces inside but I've been told 034 has improved this after the first batch..

Here is how it looks inside after I worked on it with some air tools:

But lasts like the genuine article is the question.
