That would definately suck, especially if there were no witnesses. The city is a rough place...

Default I wouldn't have involved the police, now it makes alibi hard to prove...

As now you have motive. Otherwise it could have been an arbitrary inner city shooting with a sawed off shotgun!

****ing Honda driver no less. Doesn't surprise me. Those people usually can't drive worth a ****.

Funny thing is I hate driving behind or near Honda drivers and I usually try never to park near one. Have you noticed Honda drivers are as a whole, generally the most unsophosticated absent minded bunch of drivers??

I'd go with the paint analysis route. Couldn't the cops even question him??

Default This is my story. Now that i think about it, we got very lucky nobody saw us.

About 4 years back, my Corrado just got resprayed, and this Indian mother effer on a corolla swipes about 3 inches of paint off of my rear bumper. i saw him on the balcony.

I found him later, and he denied everything, and said his car had no damage, so he could not have hit me (he cleaned it, i saw my paint on his bumper when he brushed me).

Well, karma is a bitch. I was coming home once at about 2 in the morning with a crazy Serbian friend... i saw the car parked behind my building in a very poorly illuminated area... and commented on how i wished i could set it on fire since the dude is a douche bag. Next thing i know, my friends foot is in his front passenger door... and then the rear :/. After we took off...

The guy gave me looks every time we encountered in the building, but never said anything.

I do not think it was right to be honest (@tleast not to the extent that we took it to), but it will be a lie if i say i did not enjoy it.

Default Injustice is the reason why people...

take the law into their own hands.

On a not really related note, I'm kinda suprised Bernie Madoff is still breathing.

Lucky that guy's getting off with a ticket. It's a criminal offence up here...

Ok, next step - the insurance company has been informed of all the details. Let's see what they do.

Default Damn dude, all the love you are putting into your car and some douche bag can't even

man up enough to claim responsibility. Have you tried to approach the person? Maybe they are just stupid and didn't even notice they hit your car. I've seen it happen before.

Good fix to the problem: aluminum baseball bat to the knees. Living with pain is much harder than death.

Sorry to hear about this **** man.

Default The insurance company will do nothing unless guilt can be proved. No collission coverage, I'm SOL.

I'm going to wait a few days to see if the police contact me back. It's too expensive to have the paint lab tested. The last resort will be for me to print out posters and signs about the accident and post them all over the apartment building, requesting witnesses. I will also be making a big post at the Beyond.ca and Calgary Sports Car Club car forums advertising the event and detailing the guy's car and where he lives. I don't know what else I can do.

Go figure, I actually thought the police might help me in this situation. Instead, I just get raped again.
