I just found some mid-construction pics.

Thanks...Curious, how much money did it take you to construct?

Default Aside from the driver, not much...

Half sheet of 3/4" MDF particle board
A bunch of screws
A tube of Liquid Nails
Metal grille material (I chopped up a cheap pet door kit since I couldn't find the raw materials)
Automotive carpet
A sheet of rigid insulation foam

Must have been less than $50...

Default cool thanks.. one more question

I read the outher post and you said it fires rearward, but in the pic it looks like it fires forward towards the passengers...
am I correct?

great job by the way.. how much power is pushing the sub (sorry had to slip that in)

Default Nope, it definitely fires rearward.

The driver is mounted on the square face of the box; the angled face fits up against the (angled) seatback snugly.

I forget the specs on the amp. It's nothing fancy. It's a mono class D amp made by Alpine.

Incidentally, if the trunk is really packed to the brim, the stereo sounds like crap.
