Default Springtime PSA: Torque your sparkplugs

This topic has not come up in a while, but I was reminded of it by a plug ejection on the MX-5 forum:

Remember to check your spark plug torque at each oil change. If you haven't done it in a while, do it now. Don't forget, you'll be sorry.

Default Each oil change??

So about twice a year sound good? Just replaced a bad coil about a month ago and two of the plugs were very loose. Replaced all the plugs as I bought the car last Sept '03 and did not know the mileage on the old ones.

Now that spring has come I need to do air, oil filters and probably oxy sensor too. I'm at 135,000 miles.

Use a Sears locking sparkplug socket OR own long needle nose pliers (BTDT) ;&gt
