no noises just a dream. Went out tonight and didnt plan to race but I got suckered in to racing a viper with 2 cars head start, took it easy out of the hole didnt launch to hard about
5500rpm banged second an boom secon gear is gone.
Does annyone know if there is a tranny out there that can stand that kind of power?

Default Aren't these trannies used in racing, up to 500HP?

I know the 4000 tranny has been used in high HP rally quattros.

Default you might have to bite the bullet and get straight-cut gears

Better get used to double clutching ;-). The alternative is to look for your forth tranny soon.

Funny, I did the same thing a number of months ago. I had to get a synchro replaced. Now I always double clutch in the low gears.
