Default The two halves of the dual mass rotate against each other to take the shock of engaging the clutch.
I've heard S-cars that have a sort of squeek, but it usually happens on downshift.

Default This really isn't a squeak, at least to my ears...
Fairly low-pitched. Probably not loud enough to hear at speed.

Not sure what you mean. It only happens when there is a load on the clutch, i.e. when letting the pedal out.

Yeah -- it's not noticeable on a hard launch.

Default It just bugs me that my car is starting to make these "old car" noises...
It was like a new car when I got it. Now I've got B-pillar creak, power steering squeal, and clutch chatter. Oh well...

Default It's the track vehicle of choice for now...
At least until I figure out where to park a sibling from Stuttgart. Because really what I need is another money pit...

Actually I think that suspension you helped me install is responsible for the interior noises
