Default TurboJew's Oil Temp gauge problem is catchy

On the way home this PM - I caught something weird out of the corner of my eye. The needle has only climbed as high as the first mark on the gauge - and would waive back & forth on hard cornering. Well, tonight it was over the 130 mark - and climbing. Under light loading. Everything else seemed fine. so I just kept an eye on it.

Got on a parkway at about 45 - expecting the cooler to bring it down - and it climbs up towards the upper peg - slowly. Get to a curve - zip - back down to the first mark. Then a rapid re-climb. Gave the dash a good smack over the gauge - and it's been normal since.

Almost as strange as electing a Hitler Youth pope!

(Happy birthday Adolph - I hope you are enjoying hell - here - have a pineapple!)<ul><li><a href="https://forums.audiworld.com/s4s6/msgs/61978.phtml">Original Kosher Thread</a></li></ul>

If the problem shows up again, let me know and I will send you a spare gauge that I have.

Default Thanks for the offer, but I'm pretty sure it is just a loose connection.

I'll be pulling the cluster soon to re-light it!
