very loud and very high pitched whirring noise at 2200rpm or so...

Default very loud and very high pitched whirring noise at 2200rpm or so...
i opened the hood and tugged on the throttle a bit to listen (G-d i love non-DBW), it seems to be coming from the front of the engine.

timing belt? PS pump? something else on the accessory belt?

Default serpentine or timing belt tensioner bearing
and when you replace it, I don't want any of this "skolnick was full of ship nonsense"
