Default Well, blew my first boost hose clamp while owning the car last night.

Boosting at ~25psi when it happened. Thought I blew the motor, and subsequentyly damn near made warm and fluffy stuff in my pants.

Complete list off all boost related clamps to be stored in the trunk, check.

Default which hose was it? The IC to intake hose?

Default Then I suspect you may not have checked it for tightness lately. Constant ....

torque does not necessarily mean that they won't back-off a bit over time. I would imagine that hose came off after you were hard on the boost and then took your foot off the throttle (slamming the throttle body shut). The momentary peak in pressure could have blown the hose off the throttle body. However, that should not have happened IF the clamp was tight. 3/8" socket or box end.

I presume that you got back on the road quickly.
