So i've blown a 2nd 1.8T coil in 2 months. Funny that this should only happen now, i was fine for about 12-16 months with the conversion and MTM1+ chip.

ANYWAYS.... enough is enough. Also found an LS2 coil available from MSD. I'm assuming this is PnP w/ the LS2/d585 harnesses out there. It would seem to be overkill...but hey we love overkill.

I have seen the MSD stuff. A little more pricey than some of the other options, though I would love to see how it works out.

MSD coils are about $80 to $100 each. D585 coils are about $20. Your choice.

I only pointed that out because when i searched google for LS2 coil, MSD was one of the top results.

Speaking of which, this is the latest news from our favorite D585 Ebayer:
