That's the point.
If the MPH cluster wasn't brand new when put it, and burned to proper mileage by a dealer, the mileage is wrong on the car, and very hard to trace it back to true mileage, making the value of the car lowwwww.
Also, if not brought in the states properly, could be problems down the road (ie. when goes to register it)

I live just south of down town St Small. Work north of DT Mpls. Find out where the buggy is at.
The car's color is called Cashmere. (Came out late '95). (
I looked at a Cashmere 95.5 w, 89K on it a year ago. Stage 1, RS2 em, & big reds. He wanted $18,9. WAY too much! (Nice car, 'tho.)

because anything made after 96-97 is a poop box every old VAG product ive owned has been ...
reliable and affordable to fix (except when mr transmission decided to blow up)

Not sure if you are still looking for assistance with this car but I may be able to help.
The car belongs to Hunter Darth and is in Hopkins, MN. Darth Inc. is a small used car dealer in Hopkins that does an S car or M car here and there. I know Hunter and recall him telling me about the cashmere S6 last fall. He did buy it from a dealer he knows in North Carolina.
I have not seen the car yet but I could try to hook up with Hunter and have a look at it if you wish. I used to work about 5 minutes from Hunter's location. ;-)

Hey Darin!....(question)
I noticed some of your s-car items on ebay. Looks like your parting out a car. I was temtped to purchase the seats you had because I live in Rochester(no shipping, easy pick-up). I need the wiring harness for the headlights(headlight,fog). I noticed you have two differant locations on ebay. One in Woodbury and the other in Mason City. Let me know if you have the harness and how much you want...?
