034 H.O coils or DIY LS2? Discuss.....

The LS2 coil fix is simple
What do you mean by that? Whats broke about the coils?
I have LS2 coils also, my "fix" is to buy another $22 coil. I would imagine somebody would pay half that just for shipping if you had the lifetime warranty of the 034 H.O. coils if one of them failed.

They are essentially the same thing reguardless of price, plus Delphi coils are easier to find than 034's HO coils. I guess if you like "warranty's" 034 HO coils are a better option, but I doubt warranty are of any concern to you as you own a UrS car :P
There is more than 1 *known* Delphi coil option that uses the same wiring harness.
If prices is really no object just buy new stock Beru POS's and coils, we know for a fact that these last 100,000+ miles and 15+ years.
034 HO coils are only a couple years old and Tom and I only researched, developed and documented the LS2 option about a year ago. Even UrS4boy's 1.8t coil conversion has a longer service history.

There's at least 4 other guys suffering from exactly the same issue, but I would be very surprised to hear it was a voltage regulator causing the problem. My TDS1 never shows below 13.3V even with full A/C and fans running and the volt gauge is pretty solid around the 14 mark.

Interesting, im not saying that is the problem, but other people in other vehicles have had similar problems and they ended up with bad voltage regulators, hense the "sounds like a voltage regulator issue" response.
You very well may be a bad batch of coils. Hope you get it sorted.
