Hi, i own a 1992 Audi S4 2.2 Turbo (European). So far i have removed the cats and replaced the stock air filter with a cone air filter. I now purchased a 7A camshaft. My question is, since i have the camshaft now and i will have a new chip next month. Should i install the camshaft now or should i wait til i get the chip ? Are any gains expected if i install it now or could anything bad happen ?

The cam is intended to create a little more power without increasing boost, so I can't see any negative effects.

What HP gains should be expected ? Any clue ?
And is the gain from the new cam greater once chipped ?

I don't know a whole lot about the cams... I assume the gain is in the 10 range?

What do you mean? That boost doesn't mean anything? Sorry to contradict you but boost means torque and torque x RPM means HP. It's not me (cuz some of you here don't seem to trust what I say) but it's thermodynamics sciences who say that.
