I just wanted to know if it was any good... I use repairs as a reason to upgrade since its going to happen anyway at some point. No it wouldnt be my first choice for an upgrade but if I have to fix the fuel system then I say why not "fix" it only once.
currently I am looking at the AMD pump setup
I would like a pressure gauge but really want the sender to hook up to my wideband for logging and the cheapest I have found so far that I would consider using is from autometer. The next one came from nordcog or something and was nearly double the price but said to be very good. Just a gauge seems pointless to me because I will not be able to see what is happening under load.

"Good for what?" Good for tweaking, or even some small amount of tuning, depending on what software you use. As far as quality goes, I'm sure that since AEM has a reputation for quality stuff, you probably can't go too wrong.

Misquoting someone and getting upset because you were called out on EVERY word of info you put up here about over RS2 level power is pretty funny.
Dave build a car that makes over Rs2 level power not talk about it not google away build it. Drive it 15k miles while beating it every day, have 90 logged passes at the dragstrip, blow every driveline part figuring out what certain items can take, and how to make them not break for future power increases, developed a twin plate clutch as well to hold any power, give your car to EPL for a month of software development and mafless innovations for the ecus in these cars.
Have it leave you stranded on the side of the highway in NY during a "road rally" because a 1.8t coil failed = priceless
After that then you can give your oh so "hands on" opinion to people on what they should do when looking to get to these hp numbers. ou
