Are all H&R Sport springs created equal? Sedan vs. Avant fittings.
I have used H&R Sport springs that were taken off an Avant. I assumed they were Avant specific and was going to use them to stiffen the rear end instead of going the HSRB route (my '92 already has a rear sway bar). But now I also think it may raise the rear a little bit, or at least not be as low as the front. So I called up ECS Tuning, and a rep over there told me the sedan and Avant springs share the same part numbers, meaning they are the same.
What does the forum think? I've enclosed pictures of what springs I have.

Equal, never heard of Avant or Sedan specific springs..
and the HSRB addresses problems the springs alone will not...
Note:
29921 = H&R Sport Springs (V8)
29771 = H&R Race Springs (S6+)
Part front rear
29921 V8 285 330
29771 S6+ 340 330

I have also heard opposite that the rubber doesnt let the springs
dry out and they rust underneith that rubber. I cut mine off and there was rust underneith. But didnt do it for that reason but a fable attempt to see if it was the rubber that was causing my creaking noises
