Default Nice pics

Middle injectors look like RC engineering which is Delphi I think. URS injector are 4 nozzel just like the RS2 Replicas on the right you just can't see it hidden under the pintal cap.

Ford uses 4 nozzel bosch injectors in most of there stuff. When I had an AFC/AHA motor (12V v6) I went from stock 2 nozzel injectors to slight smaller 4 nozzel 3.6 v8 injectors with pleasent results of better throttle response and fuel economy. The next owner of my car switched to Bosch injectors out of a Ford that worked slighty better.

Here is my opinion on the subject matter and it kind of leads into the whole RS2 MAF discussion. Under hard acceleration all you need is a garden hose for an injector and wide smoking open MAF. Under steady state conditions (small throttle movements and openings) you want a nice well atomized spraying injector pattern and smooth flow across the MAF. SO unless I built my car to drag race I would stick with something similar to stock in spray pattern and shy away from the garden hose style like RC engineering or Accel, summit racing, and such. As for the MAF, pulling the rear screen shouldn't make any difference IMO but pulling the front may affect your cruise performance in the long run. A velocity stack would help if you removed the screens but since we have such a small displacement motor and use a fair amount of boost on higher HP engines the working range of the MAF is what makes it challenging.

Just my 2 cents.

Default The other issue is to have the software that goes with the injectors...

I asled Bob Myers at MRC and he told me that Mihnea is not interested in making custom chips for our cars anymore.

Before, Bob would call Mihnea with a specific car specs and Mihnea would adjust the coding for that specific car. Not anymore :-(

How would the MRC Stage 3 run with 42lb Bosch injectors?

Default I'm sure they have code for the 42lb injectors already.

It's a common injector to use.
