An answer whether 7A or 3B wire ends should be used on an AAN head with D585 coils
The answer is 3B. The 7A style, as provided in 034's HO coil kit, is apparently too tall. The 3B style works better.

The reason the 7a plug ends are normally used is availability.
The 3b ends are _only_ availible from Beru, and come in 4-5x more expensive per plug end. This is why most all 3b plug wire kits and v8 kits cost so bloody much more for almost the same wires.

Well, there are a few things you have to do...
The 7A valve cover needs to have the 90 degree fitting added that is on the rear of the AAN VC. Also, the tube internal to the AAN VC that connects the inlet of the turbo to the Pressure Control Valve needs to be routed externally due to the reduced height of the 7A VC.
I also customized the NEA aluminum firewall connector cover and mounting bracket to fit with the HO coil mounting location.
