how much did you cut on the shifter lever? looks pretty short or just the angle.

It's pretty short. I cut off 1.25". I have long arms so it's perfect and the throw is pretty short

Does your cig lighter turn off when the car is off? Mine doesn't.

I took a 6 speed B5 S4 one and modified it...

<center><img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/56100/pict0015.jpg"></center><p>Simply pop the top off, scratch (very carefully) the 6th gear out, paint with a black paint marker, and wholla, you can't tell.

I do also have a flawless original **** if your interested.
