I wish i had a beater. I was looking at mid 90's bonnevilles on ebay yesterday. My first car was a 94 bonneville sle and I'd still have it for a beater if my sister hadnt driven it without oil when she had it 
Whats cool is you can find a loaded beater bonneville for less than 3 grand these days, and they're big and comfy cars
