Anyone had a major AC system overhaul lately? What was the cost?

Anyone had a major AC system overhaul lately? What was the cost?
My AC doesn't blow cold. I had it recharged 1 year ago, they said it wasn't leaking or even completely low, but regardless it worked.... mediocrely for the rest of last summer. This summer it's not doing jack again...
On top of not blowing cold air, I can feel it yank about 50 freaking horsepower from the car, and you can hear it unhappily chugging along whenever you push the frosty button...
I'm assuming this means it's probably doing all of the following :
1. Leaking
2. Compressor is binding up
3. Condensor isn't working well?
