Default I tell you, those little convex mirror inserts from Pep Boys rock.

I think you meant, "convex", and not "spherical", yes? I laughed at the visual notion of having disco ***** for side view mirrors, regardless. Maybe that's what they're called, I don't know, but it sounds funny.

Last time, Martyn was VERY helpful, but it took him a week to reply. The wait was worth it, for me at least.

It's convex, but not the same convex all the way across. Since a convex lense is, in essence, a section of sphere, "aspherical" implies that the lens is not equally convex everywhere.

Toward the outer edge, it becomes more convex, showing a lot of mirror housing, for safety.
