Anyone have a spare J - fuel hose that comes from the fuel filter "it's the braided one..

I thought that recall was for the other fuel hose hmm. Do you thing it's a good idea fixing this ...
hose . I have this place where I got all my power steering pump hoses fixed. I'm sure they can cut the metal fitings from the braided hose and weld another fitings to the ends and make me a hose that just screws into these welded fitings and if it ever starts leaking "hope not" just unscrew it and replace it.
Is this a good idea? The guy who I bought the car from told me that the recall has not been done but he had replaced the hose at some shop.
So is this the hose that everyone talking about?
Ooo and yes it started leaking and is getting worst and worst.

yes, but not braided
its rubber coming from fuel filter, then metal to fuel rail right?
if so, thats a biggie shorty exclusive type fuel line.. quite expensive new... hmmmm,,, hit me with an email :]
