Anyone here run a 205/55/16 on the OEM UrS4 5 spoke rim? I'm wondering

if the narrowness will be too "stretched" on the 8' rim?
(I already have winter tires and was hoping to give them to my father in law for his UrS4).

...you want it to be as narrow as possible.
I'd either get skinnier wheels or proper sized tires (IMO of course)...

55 is a pretty tall sidewall, I think it could take the stretch.
205/55/16 fit fine on 16x7.5 AVUS and a Fuchs is only 1/2 inch wider.
Most of the super stretched tires you see dumb Volkswagens with are more like 225/45R17 on 9 or 10" wide wheels.
God I hate Volkswagens. =)

it'll be a little stretched, but i think he'll be fine. of course, he will have to be extra-careful parallel parking.
