Anyone know how to tap into the IC rheostat output for a boost gauge light?

Did a search, couldn't find anything. Is this possible? Maybe I need to better learn search techniques? I don't know. But I have my vac line run and the IC out.
Thanks, -Dace

thing to do just that. Most people tap into the output side of fuse 7 (thin (THIN) green wire with yellow stripe) on the left end of the dash. Not reostat controlled but powers on with the dash lights. (The reostat output is to printed circuit boards for the most part so finding a place to tap isn't that easy).

I found a grey/blue strip wire coming out of a yellow connector on the back of the instrument cluster. I can tap in this here too? Just making sure about the color wire. Battery is not hooked up right now and don't want to re-hook it until done if I don't have to. Thanks -Dace

Just pull the trim around the CC head, then the 2 bolts that hold the ashtray in, and splice into the light in the back of the ashtray.
It doesn't dim with the dash lights, but I always have mine full bright anyway, so...
