E-mail me if interested. Keep in mind that this MAF is not cheap though. Also, it requires minor modifications to run it.

RS2 and larger turbos. Maybe Hap or Cody upgraded their MAFs - but I don't think so. Of course, now, Hap, is running a MAF-less control system.

It is completely overkill unless you are running a larger than RS2 turbo. Someone like Hap, Cody or possibly Emre with his new turbo would benifit from it. As Urs4boy mentioned, Hap is not running his engine with motronic anymore so he has no need for it anymore. Unfortunately, I don't have the MAF with me right now, so no luck with the diameter. I do know that it is about 35-45% larger though.

I have heard of people using Sport Quattro MAF, M5 MAF (almost equal to the SQ maf) or cheaper, mounting the original MAF into a 4" housing. The last method is OK if you are going to remap anyway.
Then there is always the option of mounting the original MAF after the turbo, on the pressure side. That will usually also require a remap, but I have heard of people not remapping. Should be put after the IC though.

I'm loving the GT3071 turbo, just got finished with that and a 'stromung gen 99' install, more on that later. Yes, I know I need a heat shield.,
