im like a hour or so from there in the adk's could say we have 2 seasons i ran pole positions from bridgestone and they last an are pretty much perfect a bit $$ though

i'm in NY (LI) and am in VT skiing every weekend. My 02 Avant A4 with Conti Xtreme Contacts have been flawless. Everything from Ice, slush, 10"+ of new snow, it just barrels thru with no slippage. Was thinking of going dedicated snows, but these tires got such good snow reviews i just run them all 4 seasons.

I have General Artics on the Volvo XC70..awesome tire.

Hi, I'm searching for new tires at the moment and I see a few good comments on the Conti Extremes. Can you tell me which models you like? On Tire Rack I see the DW and DWS ( Dry / Wet / Snow ) and they both have great reviews and appear to have very low road noise. I also have ready some reviews of these tire ( all rear wheel sports car forums ) where I read some "not so good" reviews. That negativity does not match what I see hear and what I see on the Tire Rack reviews and surveys. I have been riding on Dunlop SP 5000 AS and I must say those tires were awesome. I don't see them listed anywhere, which is why I'm looking at Continentals and others. Thanks in advance.

I have Conti DWS's on my UrS4 and my wife's C5 S6...love them. I've had them on the UrS for over a year and 30k miles. Great in all conditions, and the "s" is still showing well in the tread. When they wear out I'm gonna get them again.
