apparently jegs.com sells the eibach pro kit for our UrS cars...
i ordered it FEW DAYS AGO AND IT'SSUPPOSE TO BE DELIVERED TOMOROW AS I GOT THE TRACKING NUMBER....EIBACH PRO KIT BABY....I'M REALLY CURIOUS IF IT'S THE RIGHT PART NUMBER....YEAH BABY!!!!

Well I just rode in a S6 with H&R Race and..
Honestly the ride was not harsh. Not even near harsh and we went over the 'worst bridge in CT.' Car handled unbelievably (compared to my allroad stock S6).
Only problem was the car was damn low. I have to get over a large cement curb to get into my driveway. I think that this car would have made it as long as it was taken at an angle. But I'm afraid that my wife would probably neglect the angle routine and wipe out the bumper cover (again).
Apparently there is another list member who is going to swap out his eibachs for the h&r race springs.

also what part # did you order?
Reason I am asking is Eibach USA says our springs are NLA but it seems in Deutschland you can still get them, but the part number for the kit is slightly different for sedans ( US 1529.140 vs German 1528.140).

Still getting info on the technical side.
1.) Replacing the struts/shocks is *not* necessary. Desireable, but not necessary. Two separate sources suggest that if the car isn't going to the track, and not flogged on the street, the difference in spring rate and height won't be noticed much.
2.) Disassembly of the front suspension/axle parts is a big job. Bigger than I want to tackle on jackstands. If I had a couple of tools and a lift, I'd do it.
