The UrS was available outside of North America with an automatic transmission. Based on asking Kate about the 1997 letter codes of this tranny and it's relatives, the codes are as follows:

2.2 20 Vt = CRG
2.6L V6 = CRH
2.8L V6 = CYS
4.2L (290 hp)V8 = CST

These still need to be cross-referenced to the ZF transmission codes

I've been saying that every year for the last three years. I want to DO IT this year, and quit just talking about it.

further, there will be a small metal plate identified the "CRG" code.But mine came up with
different gear code!!??( not on your lists at all ).the Tranny was 4HP-18FLA as "CRG".one thing I could notice is I have got the different oil pan.another S-car has no metal pipe for the tranny oil dips stick but mine.Is that good or bad.personally,I like it.It's very easy to top up the oil.
