Awesome AWD moment yesterday

We finally got some snow in Calgary - not much, but some. I was sitting in rush hour traffic on a busy road. The far right lane exits, the left two lanes go straight. Traffic going straight was solid and not moving, stopped. The right exit lane was free and empty except there was one guy trying to merge left to go straight who was stopped and blocking the lane.
After sitting behind the guy for a minute I decided to suddenly swerve onto the shoulder and drive through a snow bank (about a foot of snow) to get around this guy. It was awesome, my lowered car ripped through that snow with no trouble, and I laughed like a crazy person. Nobody behind me dared to follow. Ahahahah! It was great. :-)
Yeah, I suppose this makes me an AWD dick now. But I don't care, a sports car that can do truck stuff is awesome! Oh, and my winter rule - no corner shall be taken in snowy conditions without at least a small amount of oversteer. And when I get lots of oversteer everything goes into slow motion and rock music starts playing from out of nowhere. Not sure how that happens, but it's really cool when it does. :-)

Two tons gets out of hand in a big hurry if the conditions are just wrong.
And, due to an apalling oversight on the part of most highway departments, there are no gravel traps where they need to be to collect wayward quattro drivers.
