Default Yea but when you chip a B5, those stock turbos go prety quick while a chipped C4...

goes a long long way.

Default Agreed - Painful experiences there. And by comparison the original Turbo on my 200K C4 has been

flawless. When I pulled the original K24 off my car, I found that the coolant return line was completely clogged (!)

But it seems to be very sporadic on the B5. Many are still on original turbos at 50K, 100K. Nonetheless Audi should have used K04's as they did on RS4 and as they later did on B5 1.8T. K03's svck ! Way under-designed.

Now I'm on K04/K16's on the B5 it's a completely different car, and I'm not worried about popping turbo's.<ul><li><a href="https://forums.audiworld.com/27tv6/msgs/83.phtml">4 sets of turbos on B5</a></li></ul>
