Bad misfiring. Seems that one or more cylinders are out, lots of vibration. Suggestions?

Second that. Follow this link.
Although this is for the 1.8T, the set-up and testing is still very similiar. This link worked wonders for me finding out my POS was bad on my Passat 1.8T. Should work wonders for chasing down which POS is bad. Very easy to do too - basically, you use a 1.5V battery (D cell) to test for resistance through each circuit of the POS (one for each coil). Whatever one shows an open circuit is bad = bad POS.

https://forums.audiworld.com/a4/msgs/1594531.phtml</a

Isn't it easier to just unlpug injectors till you find the one...
....that does NOT make the car run worse when it's unplugged, then switching the connectors on the POS's and seeing if it moves to a different cylinder?

Really either way would work.
This way you don't have to mess with the car running and putting any more strain/misfires on the engine by pulling injector pulse per cylinder that still has spark to it. This way, you ust pull the POS (easy) and test each one on the bench.
