Bangetek's Dyno results...

We had a local Dyno day yesterday and it was pretty cool. You should have seen the faces of the guys who owned the shop when they heard 2.2 liters and 25+ PSI... even better was the jaw dropping at the 400+ ft lbs of torque and near 400 crank HP.
Bummer was that I had an ignition issue (that we just solved today) preventing me from dyno-ing. Bange and I have the same setup except he's got the ASW FMIC. We were anxious to see comparison numbers in the dry Phoenix heat.
A note about the dyno... they didn't seem to get the load setup correctly as what should have been peak boost of about 28-29 PSI was only 25. Also, the piddly fans at the front do little to ram air down the cowls...
The plot below is an average of 3 runs, the first being about 15 HP higher.

HP vs TQ above
We finally got enough people to commit to a AzAudi dyno day so Scott (AzSantorin) and I could dyno our cars with their new RS2 parts and Software. We both run similar setups including the Dahlback 370 software with the exception of me running a ASW FMIC. Unfortunately Scott was having some miss-fire under load and wasn't able to dyno.... which sucks as we both wanted to compare a stock IC to FMIC.
Although I was only seeing a max 25 PSI on the dyno and I normally see 27+ on the street I am happy with the results. They tried changing the load on the dyno but I think it was due to the poor airflow in front of the car
They did 6 or 7 pulls and the lowest peak Hp was 290 the highest being 305 ... Torque was always around 330 ft/lbs & AF was just above or below 12:1

It'd be funny to see how many B5 S4 converts we have here on the board. know there was an informal discussion of it some time back, but I think the number may have grown. Hope you get to do your runs sometime soon.
Cheers,

They all posted lower numbers with heavy torque onset just a few 100 RPM earlier.
It's nice to educate the public on what the 2.2 I5 gem can do :-)
